TechMission
TechMission is a Sillicon Valley immersion trip for high-potential Brazilian entrepreneurs. In 10 days, these entrepreneurs get training on their pitches, participate in conferences and meet and network with investors, entrepreneurs and thought leaders from the Silicon Valley. Some of the questions we explore are:
- How can I improve my business concept and model? What feedback do Angel and Venture investors in the US would have for my startup?
- What are the leading ideas and technologies that can be developed in Brazil?
- How can foreign companies step into the SV economy? How to start an operation here with leading technologies?
- Why is entrepreneurship and innovation so vibrant in the Silicon Valley? What can be done to adapt and replicate this model in Brazil?
The 2010 program included personal pitch training, visits to Google, Ideo, NASA, Stanford, 500 Startups, I/O ventures, a session with Steven Blank and participation at BizTechDay, FailCon and the PlugPlayandTechCenter’s International EXPO, to name a few.
